Receivly uses only first-party cookies needed for the service, plus one referral cookie that is set only when you open a referral link yourself. We use no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies, which is why we do not show a consent banner.

Cookies we set

Session (rcv_session): keeps you signed in, up to 30 days.

Security (rcv_anon): protects forms against cross-site request forgery before sign-in, 1 day.

Messages (rcv_flash): shows a one-time confirmation after an action, 1 minute.

Workspace (rcv_ws): remembers your current company, 1 year.

Language (rcv_lang): remembers the interface language you chose, 1 year.

Sign-in steps (rcv_mfa, rcv_oauth): temporary state for two-factor or social sign-in, 10 minutes.

Integrations (rcv_acct): temporary state while you connect QuickBooks or Xero, 10 minutes.

Referral cookie

Referral (rcv_ref): set only if you open a referral link (/r/…), to credit the person who invited you when you sign up; 30 days, deleted at sign-up. It contains a code, not personal data about you. If you do not want it, open the site without the referral link or delete it in your browser.

Control

You can delete cookies in your browser settings; you will then be signed out. If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first.
